What to Expect

Sauvignon Blanc is a refreshingly crisp white wine that offers citrus and tropical fruit flavors with very aromatic notes of green chilies, grass, herbs, asparagus and gooseberries commonly contributing to the bouquet. Sauvignon Blanc is generally unaoked allowing the fruit to shine and highlighting the delicacy of the grape.

Winemakers Notes

TASTING NOTES
Michelangelo International Wine Award 2002 - Gold
SAA 1st Class
This Sauvignon Blanc selected from 2 vineyards, produces the same style of wine every year. This Sauvignon Blanc reflects the fresh, flinty and full-bodied characteristics of grass, peppers and fruit. A long firm and lasting aftertaste makes this a truly distinctive Sauvignon Blanc.
Serious food wine.

Reviews

Rating: 95/100 - As reviewed by The Wine Messenger Golden color. Grapes grown on lean granitic soils and exposed to the cool ocean breezes. Medium-bodied with an explosion of aromatic flavors. Supremely elegant multi-layers of fruit sensations ranging from citrus to peach cobbler. Great mineral character and a finish that lingers with a chipped-stone smoke. Perfect aperitif or with fish or crustaceans. To drink over the next 3 years.
