Ste. Chapelle Winemaker Chardonnay 2008
The grapes were picked at perfect ripeness and the juice fermented in oak barrels to achieve a round, smooth texture and layers of complexity. Periodic stirring of the yeast lees in barrel fostered even greater richness and complexity and added a creamy tone to the wine’s bright fruit flavors.
