Vintage: 2006 11/14/2009

classic upfront zinfandel smoothness but then it just falls apart. disjointed with lots of alcohol heat and a sharp bitter acidity. I even get some V8 flavors. at $42 it drinks like an $8 zin. it may need some time in the cellar

The generous aroma shows rich floral scents of roses and raspberry coulis. Accents of vanillin spice, subtle oak, cocoa bean and hints of white pepper add complexity in texture and dimension. In the mouth, the wine is gentle and balanced with a luscious, silky finish.
