really enjoyed this wine - nice fruit and good acidity
Beautifully floral bouquet filled with pineapple and lime. Smooth finish, might have to make this my go-to SB this summer!
Lots of lime and citrus flavors. Would pair really nice with grilled chicken on a hot summer day.

This is only light to medium in body, but it has a tactile, peach-skin element that gives extra interest on the palate and pleasant flinty notes alongside modest citrus fruit. Drink now.
Pleasantly soft and round, this is a good value Sauvignon Blanc for drinking over the next few months. Hints of stone fruit offset herbal notes reminiscent of crushed tomato leaf.
Grassy, with very good depth to quince and lime skin flavors. Drink now.
Smooth and juicy, showing fragrant lemongrass, thyme and fresh grass notes that mingle nicely with bright lemon-lime and tart green apple flavors. There's a nice balance of power and elegance. Drink now.
The quality here has been consistent over the past few vintages, offering solid value in an easy-drinking style. It leads with herbal aromas, but the flavors are less green, more melon and fig carried by a sense of creamy lushness.
Winemaker's Notes - Our Sauvignon Blanc delivers all of the refreshing citrus aromas and lively acidity that characterizes the Marlborough region. Our goal is to take the Starborough experience even further; with a layered texture and long, crisp finish that truly epitomizes the character of New Zealand itself.
Vivid and bright, with plenty of intensity to the lime, passion fruit, melon and guava flavors. Drink now.
The grapes were destemmed, but not crushed, and lightly pressed in order to avoid over extraction of bitter tannins from the skins. The must was then fermented in upright stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures for 30 days. The wine was filtered prior to bottling.
The 2009 Starborough Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc’s crisp, approachable style is characterized by layers of citrus and ripe tropical fruit with some herbal notes. The wine shows flavors of passion fruit, guava and kiwi over a citrus background.
