Beautifully floral bouquet filled with pineapple and lime. Smooth finish, might have to make this my go-to SB this summer!

Lots of lime and citrus flavors. Would pair really nice with grilled chicken on a hot summer day.

Grassy, with very good depth to quince and lime skin flavors. Drink now.

Pleasantly soft and round, this is a good value Sauvignon Blanc for drinking over the next few months. Hints of stone fruit offset herbal notes reminiscent of crushed tomato leaf.

WS 90pts. - According to the Wine Spectator: Smooth and juicy, with fragrant lemongrass, thyme and fresh, grassy notes that mingle nicely with bright lemon-lime and tart green apple flavors. There's a nice balance of power and elegance. Drink now. Tasting Notes - The 2009 Starborough Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc s crisp, approachable style is characterized by layers of citrus and ripe tropical fruit with some herbal notes. The wine shows flavors of passion fruit, guava and kiwi over a citrus background.

Tart, and lively, with pear and lime flavors that echo nicely on the open-textured finish. Drink now.

    Winemaker's Notes:

The grapes were destemmed, but not crushed, and lightly pressed in order to avoid over extraction of bitter tannins from the skins. The must was then fermented in upright stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures for 30 days. The wine was filtered prior to bottling.
