Starborough Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough 2008
Lemon, lime and a bit of stone fruit, mostly peach aroma. Lots of acidity, puckering grapefruit and lemon freshness, with a finish that's a little creamier.
Light green yellow color with aromas of melon and grass. Light to medium bodied with hints of tropical fruits, grapefruit, and a bite of acidity toward the finish. Well balanced but subtle.
Fresh, crisp tropical flavors on the nose. Nice acid. Wonderful summer wine. Beautiful art work on the bottle. Good stuff!
Very grassy, metallic tangy wine, with a real quartz mineral quality. Lean nose offering grass and gooseberries.
This wine had all of the characteristics I enjoy in a Sauvignon Blanc: light, citrus, & easy to drink. The apple and fruit flavors were understated, which I prefer. All things considered, this was a pleasant wine, but doesn't stand our as one of the best or one of the worst.
Vibrant spring green grass on the nose, tasted like I just bit into a bunch of fresh arugula--greens mixed with strong peppery notes. Very unique.
Crisp and light. I really liked the "green" hints to it, green apples, melon, gooseberries.

Tart, and lively, with pear and lime flavors that echo nicely on the open-textured finish. Drink now.
The quality here has been consistent over the past few vintages, offering solid value in an easy-drinking style. It leads with herbal aromas, but the flavors are less green, more melon and fig carried by a sense of creamy lushness.
Pleasantly soft and round, this is a good value Sauvignon Blanc for drinking over the next few months. Hints of stone fruit offset herbal notes reminiscent of crushed tomato leaf.
Smooth and juicy, showing fragrant lemongrass, thyme and fresh grass notes that mingle nicely with bright lemon-lime and tart green apple flavors. There's a nice balance of power and elegance. Drink now.
