The malbec controls the nose, with sweet leather, tobacco, sage, earth and spicy, peppery red fruit. Very aromatic and interestingly so. Silky on the palate and coats with a bright jammy, red berry flavor. A nice zesty spice throughout. A very unique blend, but it works very well! - Tasted with Jim and Pam Lambert at Khoury's 5/5/10
