Stangeland Pinot Noir Eola Amity Hills Vintage Selection 2007

Member Review by Alexr79:

The 2007 Stageland Pinot Noir is overly acidic, out of balance, and thin. The 2007 is a world of difference away from the 2006 which was very nice. The 2007 has the aroma of tart strawberries and the flavor of a mild raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing. Very disappointing

Light red in color. Red cane berries and wild strawberries on the nose with a hint of dried flowers and spice. Light in body with a tour of red-fruit flavors both sweet and well focused, slight minerality and tannins mid-palate. Finishes crisp and clear with nice juicy acidity. Reminds me very much of a Volnay I sampled from the same vintage several months earlier and for less than half the price!
