Stag's Leap Sauvignon Blanc shows aromas and flavors of ruby red grapefruit, mandarin orange, guava and Comice pear. Stag's Leap Sauignon Blanc is consistently one of the best Sauv. Blanc offerings from Napa Valley.


Winemaker's Notes:

Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Sauvignon Blanc 2011 is a blend of 59% Sauvignon Musque and 41% Sauvignon Blanc that is fermented in a combination of previously filled French oak barrels (76%) and stainless steel (24%) and aged for 4-5 months in previously filled French oak barrels. This Napa white offers vibrant, layered aromas of pineapple, stone fruit, green apple and lime on the nose. On the palate, flavors of pear, honeydew melon, citrus, toasted almonds and minerals with bright acidity and a long, lingering finish.
