($80) Bright ruby-red. Dark raspberry, chocolatey oak and hints of celery and mint on the nose; offers more aromatic lift than the S.L.V. Creamy and lush in texture, with sweet flavors of raspberry, spices and earth; grew more chocolatey as it opened in the glass. The firm finish features substantial but sweet tannins.

Smooth structure, with briar, cherry, and blackberry fruit, laced with lavender and exotic spice. Needs time.

A gorgeous deep garnet red, the 2002 FAY Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits an intense perfume of darkred fruit, lavender, violets and a hint of butterscotch. Concentrated flavors of lush red plum, black cherries, licorice, and subtle forest floor are accented by sweet oak and a ribbon of vanilla. It is beautifully balanced, with a soft entry, expansive fruit fl avors and a long, flavorful finish. With its mouthwatering aromas, lusciousflavors and supple texture, the 2002 FAY would pair beautifully with seared Magret duck breasts with pan roastedfingerling read more...

One of the jewels in the Stag's crown, this is perfumed and delicious. Cherry, liquorice and sweet briar. Spicy, grippy tannins. Drink 2011-26.
