Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Cask 23 Cabernet Sauvignon(1999)

CASK 23, made only in exceptional vintages, is usually a blend of the most distinctive fruit from Stag's Leap Wine Cellars' S.L.V. and FAY estate vineyards. But now, thirty years after a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon from S.L.V. won the legendary Paris tasting, they return to this vineyard as the sole source of inspiration for the 2003 blend.

Only in meritorious vintages do we choose the most distinctive grapes from S.L.V. and Fay, our two estate vineyards in the Stags Leap District, and use them to create Cask 23, a proprietary red wine blend expressing exceptional elegance.
