Staglin Family Cabernet Sauvignon(1992)

This wine displays a nose profuse with spice and cedar infused black cherries and currants followed by a rich palate of spicy red and black cherries, chocolate covered plums and blueberries with a tease of black olives lurking in the background. The voluminous mid-palate exits with a beautifully textured undercurrent of spice and white pepper that carries through to a lengthy finish that is inflected with hints of earth and mushrooms. This wine is already showing beautifully and will continue to develop more complexity as it ages for 5-10 years.
