St. Urbans-Hof Riesling Ockfener Bockstein Kabinett 2011
This reliable Mosel has interesting gasoline and citrus notes on the nose, a beautiful, clear lemon-lime colour and warm, slightly off-dry baked apple or even apple cider on the palate. There is even a toasted coconut element - which is intriguing and not out of place. Delicious and recommended - especially at this price. Will age another several years at least. 90 points.
A very pleasant Riesling, fresh to the palate and best served at 61 degrees.
nothing dry about this cuvee but very fruity and fresh and pleasant across the palette. must cellar some bottles
