St. Supéry Vineyards Petit Verdot Napa Valley 2005
This estate grown 2005 Petit Verdot is a super rich, powerful, deeply concentrated wine with aromas of plum blueberry, raspberry and a hint of brown sugar. Flavors of wild berry plum cassis and integrated toasty oak integrate seamlessly on the palate. This is indeed beautiful wine from start to finish.
Lots of smokiness to this wine with nice dark fruit in the nose. Has a chalky, dusty character to it with a smoky flavour.
Nose of blackberry and a palate filled with blackberry and clove with some plum. Very nice. - Tasted at winery 4/20/10
