On the nose, pure, ripe currant, black cherry and a hint of cinnamon. Plum and blackberry on the palate. Earthy and deep, more like a cab! - tasted at winery 4/20/10

smooth, rich and seductive. This 2005 Merlot from our Rutherford vineyard shows intense aromas of pure ripe currant, black cherry, blueberry and a hint of cinnamon. On the palate one finds perfect flavors of plum and blackberry. The finish is long and lingering with well integrated tannins. Drink now through 2015.
