St. Supéry Vineyards Chardonnay Napa Valley 2011
Light on the nose with hints of toasted nuts, cocoa, tobacco, mint and vanilla over red currant and plum fruit. This shows off a lovely herbal perfume on entry followed by a nice red currant, raspberry and plum skin mid-palate that’s nicely framed with well-judged oak notes. There's actually quite a bit of peppery spice here on the palate, with layered oak flavors that are well balanced by the fruit, fruit that remains fresh and transparent in the mouth. The oak turns a touch bitter for a moment on the finish, then the fruit returns with a hint of bacon fat and persistent earthy spice. Lean, fresh and elegant, this is balanced for the cellar but already very attractive with a fairly light-handed winemaking style. 93ptsAdd winemaker's notes

Nose has hints of grapefruit, flavors of lemon lime, honeysuckle, beeswax and vanilla. The flavors really come out with a little warmth.
Apricotes and citrus on the nose. A bit tart. Sharp cheese and olives pair well.
Grapefruit and citrus with nice tart acidity on the finish.
aromas of apples, melon, and pear, some citrus notes on the palate combined with candied apples, tiny hints of vanilla with a smooth mouthfeel
Oak free chardonnay with good acid and nice crispness. Citrus notes and nice balance.
Lighter in colour than estate and lighter aromas. Still has that grapefruit character but is creamier in texture and has lychee notes.
Nice dessert wine. Lychee and citrus nose. Nice acid with a touch of lemon, light body & sweetness and nice finish. Would be good for summer time or spicy food.

Aromas abound with rich apricots, peach blossom and exotic guava. Vibrant ripe sweet flavors of nectarine, peach and citrus complete a full rich profile finishing with bright acidity. This wine is lightly sweet with a crisp acidity that keeps it light on the palate and hence a great companion to a wide variety of foods..
Like a breath of summer in a glass. There is a wonderful aroma of white peach, apricot pear and slight floral finish. The wine is light and delicate yet full of intense flavors of sweet ripe pear and apricots. This is a perfect aperitif for an afternoon gathering.
Illustrates with tremendous hues of purples and reds. Aromas of blackberry and black plum integrate with tight smoky oak, a note of anise and dark molassas. Flavors of blackberry and cassis follow with a dusty sense of terroir, bright vanillin oak and a structured espresso finish.
A great summer wine for fish, chicken or no reason at all. It's easy to get caught up in the nose of ripe melons - makes me think of boys in baseball pants. On the palate it's almost a bit tropical with the introduction of pineapple that accompanies the cantaloupe melon flavors nicely. It finishes crisp and clean with out that buttery-ness of so many Chardonnays. If you don't think you like Chardonnay, try it again. You might be pleasantly surprised by this one!
This wine starts out with beautiful aromas of pear and pineapple that then are married together with the subtle fragrance of fresh bread and yeast. The flavor of fresh pears and honeydew melon are rich and round with a long creamy finish. Finest suede under hand, leaving your mouth with a fond memory that invites yet another sip
Wine Tasting NotesThe Oak Free Chardonnay is sharply focused with a beam of green apple, cantaloupe and a seductive aroma of fresh yeast. Vibrant mouthwatering, the flavors of pear and melon fill the palate. It has a refreshly clean finish that highlights the mineral and fruit qualities.
The 2007 Napa Valley Merlot is wonderful reminder that this varietal is a structured and elegant wine with delicately bold fruit flavors. Our wine is supple with texture; it has finesse that is enhanced by generous sweet berry, toasted oak, a round middle and a licorice finish. St. Sup ry s Merlot is a balanced wine with aromas of plum and subtle spice. This Napa Valley Merlot is a compliment to a wide array of foods.
