Light mineral nose. Complex bright oranges and lemons that evolve into an creamy delicate apricot finish. Medium acidity. Overall superbly light and enjoyable.

One of the better pinot grigios I have had in a while and an excellent value. Nice balance of citrus, good acidity and very easy to drink.

The 2009 Pinot Grigio is very pretty in this vintage. It is an especially round, generous Pinot Grigio, with lovely depth to its fruit and a long, perfumed finish. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2012.

Fresh and superclean, with peach and lemon on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied, leaving a pleasant dry stone aftertaste. Drink now.

This cooperative of more than 350 members has access to some of the best vineyards in Alto Adige. The vines are planted on calcareous, gravelly soils and enjoy warm days and cool nights, allowing the grapes to fully ripen without losing acidity. The 2008 vintage, with persistent rain into August, was potentially disastrous, but favorable weather before harvest, low yields and careful work in the cellar allowed winemaker Hans Terzer to craft a complex and balanced wine.

Lime, lemon blossom, and a nice mineral quality describe this wine. Lightweight, but with well-integrated acidity, it makes a safe match for seafood, vegetables and white meat.

Sneaks up on you. Not much on the nose, but the palate is fresh and fruity, with peach and melon character and just a hint of mineral. Crisp finish. Drink now.
