St. James Winery Catawba Ozark Highlands Pink Catawba NV

Member Review by lakenvelder:

This is a light, crisp, sweet wine is made from the Catawba grape. It was not too sweet apple taste and had a had a nice finish. The 2000 revived a Double Gold award, at the 2004 Tasters Guild International Wine Competition and I can understand why.

I am not generally a fan of sweeter wines, however, I liked this. It was certainly sweet, but as dessert after a chicken salad, it paired very well. In this capacity, I would buy it again.
