If you visit the St. James Winery web page they have a section of recipes. There is a delicious Blackberry Wine cake that is awesome.
I am just getting into drinking wine, and I actually liked this wine as a spritzer (added soda) and my mom and grandma liked it as well.
This is one of my favorites....try to keep several bottles on hand...ole stand by...have tried the blackberry cake..not bad..to me it was a waste of good wine...would rather drink it.. better if you let it sit for a while
WOW! I just took my first sip of this wine, and I have got to say AMAZING flavor! The fullness of the flavor gets you right when it hits your lips. It is full, thick almost, and so delicious! You really get NO strong alcohol after taste at all. I think I have a new favorite! My only con: very, very sweet(if that can be a con). Good for maybe a desert wine only.
