St Hallett Shiraz Barossa 2007
Winemaker's Notes:
This is an exceptionally vibrant and expressive benchmark Barossa Shiraz displaying complex ripe cherry and raspberry fruit characteristics. Its flavours are a true expression of the vintage, showing deep red with magenta hues and expressing a vibrant nose of lifted fruits of cherry and raspberry, with underlying spices and chocolate. These delicious fruits follow onto the palate, complemented by a hint of spice and milk chocolate. Smooth and supple tannins provide an evenly textured drinking experience, and make for a wonderfully easy-drinking red. A perfect partner to the ususal suspects - grilled rack of lamb, or fillet steak. It is also amazingly versatile as it partners well with various other cuisines, try with fragrant curries spiced with cinammon and cardomom.

St Hallet focuses on crafting full-flavoured , textured wines entirely from Barossa fruit.
