Winemaker's Notes:

St Hallett Winery in Barossa, which was established in 1944, focuses on crafting full-flavoured, textured wines entirely from the region's fruit. St Hallett uses up to a total of 700 hectares of vines allowing for a large diversity of fruit and a variation of techniques for each vintage. As one of the founding wineries of the region, it was named after one of the early surveyors of south Australia in early 19th century, and after an initial start producing fortified wines, it began it's experimentation with Shiraz in the 1970s. Eden Valley is situation 250 metres above Barossa Valley, and therefore it's cool climate makes for the production of delicious rieslings. True to Eden Valley character, St Hallett Eden Valley Riesling has lemon blossom aromas and pristine lime flavours held together by spine-tingling steely acidity and a long mineral finish.
