Loads of black current and hints of thai basil in this Cab. Initially the oak was a little too much for me, but it smoothed out once the bottle breathed for an hour or so in the decanter.

St. Francis Winery has created this Wild Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon from a blend of mountainside vineyards thought Sonoma County. With underlying minerality that gives this wine immense structure and notes of dark berries, this Cabernet remains approachable.

Very drinkable. A little less fruity than some other cali cabs I've tried, perhaps because it's slightly older. A little chalky but that adds to the complexity here. I like.
