Generous, ripe, rich, polished currant, plum, black cherry and blackberry fruit is shaded by pretty, toasty-roasted coffee- and mocha-flavored oak. Tannins are fine and well-integrated... Wine Spectator. A Cabernet Sauvignon wine from California in USA. 1999 St Clement Oroppas 750ml

Winemaker's Notes:

This award-winning blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc from Napa Valley was rated 90 points by Wine Spectator, and it's easy to understand why. Components were aged separately in French oak for one year before the final blend was assembled and returned to the barrel for an additional six months to meld the flavors and tannins. The resulting wine has an incredibly concentrated, complex character. Aromas of raspberry, blackberry and cassis are laced with notes of spice and vanilla. The bright, fresh fruit flavors have hints of smoky bacon that last throughout a long finish. Both the wine and the bottle will impress even the most discerning drinker. Rating by Wine Spectator.
