St. Amant is a small winery in Lodi California almost famous for their high quality reds like zinfandel, tempranillo. The tempranillo is softer than a zinfandel, with a bit more spice, maybe a hint of anise or even clove. Not very dry, with dark berry flavors, it reminded me of Marie Callendar's razzleberry pie. Look for great things from this winery in the future because they know a good grape when they crush one! When someone very famous said "Seize the day!", I'm sure they meant to have a bottle of wine too!
