Spy Valley Pinot Noir Marlborough 2005

External Review by Premium Wine & Spirits:

Another inky-dark 2005 Marlborough Pinot, Spy Valley's rendition is assertive and plummy, but perhaps lacking a little bit of perfume. Slightly creamy in texture without being particularly lush, it finishes long and clean.

Vibrant, with blackberry, blueberry and fresh herb flavors framed by tangy acidity. Cola, stone and clay flavors pinpoint the cedary finish. Drink now through 2009.
