This wine is a stunning achievement. An old world style wine clearly influenced by French wine-making, yet has its own distinct personality.

Smoke, tobacco, cassis on the nose, raisined fruit. Well made, complex structure with fine yet evident tannins, sweet ripe fruit. Drink now.

The quality of this wine is extraordinarily high, and even at $55+ it is an excellent value. Estate grown, made, and bottled by 9th generation French winemakers. It is a South African gem with the soul of a Frenchman.
