Giorgio Rivetti brings us a 100% Nebbiolo wine, made with grapes from young vines in the Starderi vineyard, also the source of his renowned single-vineyard Barbaresco. Aged 12 months in new oak barriques, the wine displays a bouquets of black plum, currant and black cherry. Great elegance, with perfect tannins, yet round with a fine finish.
The Langhe Nebbiolo shows great quality and structure throughout. More floral and slightly less fruity than its counterparts, the Langhe Nebbiolo is a broad shouldered, big wine that is already starting to drink nicely. Lots of vanilla up front compl...
