Spier Private Collection Chenin Blanc 2008

Winemaker's Notes:

Grapes from selected vineyard blocks were hand-harvested between 23-24.5 degrees Balling in 9kg crates. After hand sorting the grapes were gently crushed and pressed. Following fermentation in French oak barrels, the wine matured on the lees for 10 months. Only the finest barrels were selected for blending and bottling. 95% Chenin blanc and 5% Viognier.
