Golden yellow color characteristic of Chardonnay. Aromas of oak and vanilla. Crisp, clean mouth feel and medium bodied. Hints of vanilla and slight tropical fruit with an overall background of oak. Very pleasurable to drink and would go really well with a fine cheese. Very good wine for the money.

Not too oaky or buttery; very good with seafood and/or to cook seafood (e.g., clams) in. Introduced to this one through BevMo's wine club.

Light nose. Not oaky, fruity nose. Light herbal, moderate butter, light fruit.

This classic Alexander Valley Chardonnay offers vibrant aromas of fresh lemon, yellow apple and white peach. On the palate the wine has a nice viscosity and creamy texture with flavors of lemon, stone fruit, clove and a hint of minerality. The wine has vibrant acidity and a long, lingering finish.

Ripe, bright, rather exotic aromas of honey and melon. Fairly large-scaled but solidly built, with good backbone and acidity; lovely restrained sweetness. Finishes quite firm.

Medium-bodied with candied apple and wheat biscuit flavors, this wine is rich and ripe to the point of sweetness. A good choice with sweet-and-sour chicken.

The grapes for this wine are from vineyards in the cooler regions of Sonoma County. Fermentation in small French Nevers oak barrels add subtle oak and vanilla nuances to the citrus and varietal fruit flavors, creating a rich, multilayered Chardonnay.

A bit earthy, with vanilla and pear flavors that carry through to the slightly soapy finish. Drink now through 2001.

Smooth, ripe and creamy in texture, this California Chardonnay featured rich pear, fig, melon and spice notes, gaining depth and complexity on the finish, where the flavors flourish. What a buy, from a winemaker with a deft touch with this varietal.
