Golden yellow color characteristic of Chardonnay. Aromas of oak and vanilla. Crisp, clean mouth feel and medium bodied. Hints of vanilla and slight tropical fruit with an overall background of oak. Very pleasurable to drink and would go really well with a fine cheese. Very good wine for the money.

Not too oaky or buttery; very good with seafood and/or to cook seafood (e.g., clams) in. Introduced to this one through BevMo's wine club.

Light nose. Not oaky, fruity nose. Light herbal, moderate butter, light fruit.

This classic Alexander Valley Chardonnay offers vibrant aromas of fresh lemon, yellow apple and white peach. On the palate the wine has a nice viscosity and creamy texture with flavors of lemon, stone fruit, clove and a hint of minerality. The wine has vibrant acidity and a long, lingering finish.

Pale gold in color with lovely aromas of peach and vanilla. Beautifully focused flavors of orange, pear, white peach and delicate nectarine mingle with pleasant oak accents. A mineral and honey aftertaste rounds out the long satisfying finish. This is a nicely structured Chardonnay with layers of butter, fruit and a touch of oak. Serve with Veal Francaise or Chicken Piccata.

Sleek, with well-defined green apple, lemon-lime, mineral and citrus, it maintains its tangy edge on the finish, turning subtle and elegant. Drink now through 2008.

2001 is showing up as one of Californiarsquo;s finest Chardonnay vintages in recent memory. Here, Souverainrsquo;s trademark tangerine acidity has heaped upon it a healthy dose of toasty, vanillin oak and tropical mango and papaya. Donrsquo;t worry, the citrus is still there to freshen up all that heavily-laden fruit. Delicious, as usual.

This chardonnay offers aromas of pear and citrus with a hint of smoke. Flavors of white peach from the Alexander Valley, pear from the Russian River Valley and citrus from the Carneros region blend harmoniously and transition to flavors of cregrave;me brucirc;leacute;e and cinnamon spice on the midpalate. The long, complex finish offers layers of honeycomb and spice as the lingering flavors of pear stay to the end.
