Decanted and aired for 15 minutes before tasting. Nose of wood planks, new leather and blackberry. Opens up very nicely after about 30 minutes. Wine is very young and tight, but still quite drinkable. Pepper and roses on the palate.

Winemaker's Notes:

The Curra vineyard is just east of Cotta – the name deriving from a holding that belonged to some curato, or parish priest, in the past. The vines run gently downhill on a south west-facing slope, ranging in elevation from 220 to 300 metres above sea level. Fermentation takes place in oak.
