Full-flavored but not overwhelmingly heavy, it dances across your tongue and finishes clean and dry. Terrific with oysters and other shellfish, but also pairs well with most chicken and pasta dishes.

The new vintage of this perennial staff favorite has arrived, and I am pleased to report that it equals the great reputation of its 2006 predecessor. A bright gold in color, the nose is subtly floral with aromas of dry grass, melon and vanilla. The feel is textured and delicate, crafted in a Burgundian style, and presents hints of honey and banana - a delicious alternative to the overly-oaked style of some California Chardonnays. This is the perfect white for all occasions, and an exceptional value.
