Amazing aromas of plums, strawberries, and minerals follow through to a full-bodied palate, with ultraripe tannins and a long, mineral and blackberry aftertaste. Gorgeous. So fresh and structured. Best after 2010.
The 2000 Sori Tildin is larger in dimension but the major difference is in the nose, riper, warmer, and with more chocolate and licorice as well. The roundness and suppleness, the richness of the extraction, and the ampleness of the finish are also superior. Drink: 2005–2018.
Deep ruby-red. Pure, aristocratic nose combines black fruits, minerals and licorice; like the Costa Russi, this displays a coolness that's refreshing in the context of this warm year.
