Pretty musty on the nose with a lot of minty, eucalyptus character and some tobacco, damp rotting wood notes. Nice and fluid in the mouth with a bit of still drying tannin and a hint of residual cherry fruit. Seems a bit woody/redwoody on the midpalate though with air this gains some length and a bit more of a fruity character. 82pts and drink up

Funky old nose and tastes like a dusty basement. I recognize some echos of what it once could have been, but it's not really enjoyable for me.
A bit corked? Nothing but funk on the nose. Some surprisingly nice cherry fruit right at the beginning on the palate, but this falls off a steep cliff immediately, almost as if the wine evaporates in the mouth. That bit of fruit is interesting enough to keep me coming back for more, though.
Funky, dirty, musty nose. Some drying tannins and a little fruit left, but its pretty hollow on the mid palate. The mustiness really dominates.
My '74 Sonoma Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander's Crown Vineyard: Opened and decanted just before tasting. Musty yes, but seemed to lose that as the night progressed. Hint of fruit (cherry), but lost almost immediately on the palate. No substance, not really recognizable as a cab. Glad it was opened for the tasting, it started some great conversations.
