Sonoma-Cutrer Sonoma Coast Chateau 2008

External Review by Vines Wine and Spirits:

Fruit aromas of white peach, and nectarine are followed by honeysuckle, honey, and light floral with hints of toast, butterscotch, grapefruit, and cantaloupe. This wine is richly textured with a mouth-coating applely acidity and a round and creamy mid-pal

This allowed the winemaker, Bill Bonetti, to focus all of his attention to perfecting one thing, boosting the quality of its wine dramatically. It wasn’t until 1992 that the winery acquired Pinot Noir cuttings and started branching out, still only with a total of two wines. Today, Michael Schroeter, current winemaking director of Sonoma Cutrer, continues to craft award-winning wines. Read less
