Not just any winery - founder Brice Cutrer Jones met with many knowledgeable winemakers of the time and came to a conclusion: the winery should focus ONLY on Chardonnay. Tasting Notes:

The aromas of The Cutrer 2001 are reminiscent of fresh mountain air, supported by damp earth aromas of warm summer rain in the Sierras. The overall impression is fresh, crisp and lively, with high floral notes. The textural impression in the mouth is round, rich and chewy, balanced with crisp apple acidity that pleasantly lingers on the palate.
