Somek Merlot Shomron 2004
They only recently bottled this fruity, dark-ink juice just for you! What did Rogov say about the 2003 vintage of this wine? Somek, Merlot, 2003: Dark garnet towards inky purple, full-bodied and intensely concentrated with firm tannins and generous vanilla and spices from its 20 months in barriques. Despite its power, well balanced, with black currants, blackberries and black cherry fruits showing nicely and lingering comfortably on a moderately-long and round finish. Drink now-2009. Score 88
