Vivid ruby. Spicy redcurrant and cherry aromas are complemented by fresh rose and smoky minerals. Tangy red fruit flavors show very good precision, with silky tannins adding a firm edge. Very young but already appealing.
Rich with deep black cherry flavors and some charry bits, this is smoky, peppery and lasting on black, mineral-inflected tannins. Decant it for grilled lamb chops.
Firm in texture, with tea and spice notes playing against berry flavors struggling to get past firm tannins. Best after 2013. Tasted twice, with consistent notes.
Aromatic nose combines boysenberry and cherry liquor with candied licorice. Deep, with palate-coating sweetness and a refreshing jolt of peppery spice adding life to the black and blue fruits. Wow… what a wine! Pair with barbecue, steak and southern food. Food pairing: red meats, spicy foods Flavor type: fruit-forward Body type: full Finish: rich
