Soljans Estate Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough 2008
This wine has a light straw colour with a flashing green tinge. A long cool fermentation has enhanced the ripe tropical frui. An underlying layer of very ripe fruit gives this dry wine a hint of tropical fruits to meld with the gooseberry and melon notes. A balanced thread of acidity gives the wine an attractive finish.
Family owned winery and cafe situated at the gateway to Auckland's heritage wine region, Kumeu Wine Country. Sample the award winning wine in the cellar door then enjoy exceptional NZ cuisine in the highly acclaimed cafe.
