Sojourn Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

97 points PinotReport: Medium-deep ruby color; deep, complex, spicy stewed cherry aromas; big, ripe, stewed dark cherry flavors; very complex, earthy, spice notes; silky texture; great structure and balance; long finish. Incredibly complex Pinot with laser-focused flavors. Needs a ton of time, but I love it right now. 875 cases made. (1/15/11) 94 points Wine Spectator: Impressive and notable for its polish and finesse, this smooth-textured red shows subtle cherry, berry, mineral and spice flavors that build depth and intensity, all the while maintaining an understated elegance. Drink now through 2020. 875 cases made. (3/30/11)

Light garnet hue. The alluring nose of cherry and brown spice eases into a mélange of ripe strawberry, rhubarb and pomegranate with a backdrop of clove and cinnamon, while fruit and mouthwatering acidity meld on the balanced and lingering finish. Dri... Neil Mechanic. A Pinot Noir wine from California in USA. 2009 Sojourn Cellars Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 750ml
