Sobon Estate Old Vines Zinfandel 2012

External Review by Prestige Wine & Spirits:

A solid, middleweight Zinfandel, this emphasizes sophisticated, toasty, spicy oak aromas. The oak doesn’t overwhelm, however, but enhances the ripe boysenberry flavors, juicy acidity and lingering finish. Enjoyably tannic, this will pair well with grilled lamb, steak and chicken.

Juicy currant and plum fruits. Medium-bodied with a silky texture and subtle spice. Great with roasted meats or savory chicken dishes.
