Pale straw-yellow. Perfumed nose displays intense aromas of yellow apple, nectarine and fresh white flowers. At once dense and lively on the palate, with vibrant citrus, apple, pear and tangerine flavors that last impressively on the back end; this reminded me of walking through an orchard. Excellent focus for an entry-level Soave. One of the two best base Soaves of 2010; in fact, this is one of the finest I've tasted from Pieropan in quite some time. For those who have been left nonplussed by simple Soave in the past, this is one to try.
