A fine Syrah that shows very good balance and complexity. The wine is bone-dry and pretty tannic, with a puckery astringency that provides a nice balance to the ripe blackberry, cocoa, pepper and grilled meat flavors.
Burnt coffee and charry oak dominate this wine, giving the black cherry and wild berry flavors a smoky tone. Smooth, with a medium body. Drink now.
