It's cheap, it's good. For drinking as a table wine with red meat from the grill, it's hard to beat. Not for special occasions, but a solid performer.
Nice long red cherry nose. Smooth and round on the palate. It went well with our main course of mediterranean chicken. Good price point for this well balanced full red.
3…2…1…Happy New Year! That was the first thought that come into mind upon smelling the aroma of this wine. It had the smell of freshly popped fireworks. It was smoky and woody, and I not sure if the name was meant to be an indicator of such an aroma. The taste seemed to lack in the flavor department, and I spent the majority of my time with this wine taking in the fireworks. I would buy it again on smell alone.
Not a bad wine for the price. Good to give to friends or drink to get drunk.
Very drinkable syrah for the money. Good everyday wine.
