Medium weight color on this wine with a faint bricking starting to show at the very edge of the rim. The nose is a bit strong at first and needs a bit of air to blow off, but you begin to see the spicy coffee character, faded but present. It combines with a dried fruit component that is pruney at it's core with some raisin notes and fig paste. In the mouth this wine is soft and gentle with a medium high acidty and lots of prune, raisin dates, and figs, in fact it reminds me of the fig paste you find in some middle eastern shops, full of seed and dark, dark brown.
