Smith & Hook Cabernet Sauvignon Santa Lucia Highlands 2009
This 1997 Cab was opened after 14 years, albeit with much trepidation that it may have gone foul. Fortunatly, we found it had aged spectacularly and while opened, gained much more in flavorbetween the first and last sips. Very smooth with flirtatious citrus flavors, this was a fine, uncomplicated cab that merited 8 thumbs up from the 4 of us who were fortunate to open and share this fine bottle.
