This is a great introduction to Agiorgitiko. It's classically styled with soft acids but not too chunky allowing the red berry fruits to take center stage. It's got some snap to it so don't think this is flabby and it offers up some toasty notes and a hint of underbrush on both the nose and the palate. This could use some more length and elegance but is a solid red. 88pts

The color is bright, deep crimson. The nose reveals aromas of blackberries, black raspberries and ripe strawberries with just a touch of anise and spices such as clove and cinnamon. It is a medium bodied wine with graceful texture, balanced acidity and very ripe elegant tannins. The finish is moderately long, full of red fruits with a touch of sweet vanilla and black pepper.
