Six Prong Red Blend Columbia Valley 2010

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

Rather herbal on the nose and attractively so with black currant and tomato aromas framed by notes of earth and old wood. A little gassy at first, then this turns smooth and supple in the mouth with light black currant and black cherry fruit along with a nice touch of earthy and dried herb. This is unremarkable but it is real wine. A little dull perhaps but it finishes with fine dry tannins and a nice linger earthy/old barrel savoriness. A good wine for a BBQ. 83pts

Love the 2009 but can't find anywhere!

We became pretty addicted to this wine as a go-to table red. More complex and developed than most wines in this price range. It's a big jammy red that is balanced nicely with coffee, tobacco, mocha, and floral notes. Very good from nose to finish. A great value. The 2007 vintage, more common these days, is very good also...but not quite the 2006 or the 2005.
