Sipacha Garnacha 2006
This wine is a bit of a beast - if you're not ready for it, the mouthfeel will nearly bowl you over. But it's delicious, it's intense...and I left the rest of my tasting notes at home. It's a great Grenache, and for the price you can't possibly go wrong.Add winemaker's notes

Garnacha (a.k.a. Grenache) is the world's second most widely planted grape. This one is big, fruit-filled and delicious. Enjoy with grilled tuna or chorizo beef stew or imported sharp provolone.
Incredibly versatile and food-friendly (even pairs well with white fish!) the Sipacha Garnacha is a great go-to wine when you don't know what you want. Intense cherry and red raspberry flavors, with soft tannins and a lush, smooth mouthfeel. Very easy to drink, good for beginner red drinkers, but with a lot of style and oomph to please the old pros as well. Spain is famous for terrific under $10 bottles, and this is one that will not disappoint.
