This Portuguese red has strong aromas of ripe plums, blackberries, dusty black cherry, and spice box. flavors of dark berries and earthy minerals. Made by Paolo Laureano the professor of enology at the University of Evora and Portuguese winemaker of the year in 2004! Delicious on its own or pair with grilled meats or light to medium pasta sauces.
We had this wine recently in our favorite Portuguese restaurant and found it to be truly special. One of the best Portuguese reds I've found. We are Malbec and Pinot lovers; this delighted our tastebuds.
