Simi Sauvignon Blanc 2010
External Reviews for Simi Sauvignon Blanc
Nice, stylish white wine, with plenty of well-ripened citrus and melon fruit, and a rich overlay of toasty oak. Zesty acidity refreshes the palate. Finishes a bit sweet, with a palate-coating honeyed flavor.
Intense, with lingering concentration to the nicely focused flavors of lemon, melon, fig and yellow apple. Drink now.
Tangy, with very good depth to honeysuckle, fig and green apple flavors accented by lively citrus acidity and a hint of fennel on the finish. Drink now.
Lemony fresh on the nose. Then it fans out to reveal hints of gooseberry, melon, grapefruit and mineral tones. Quite delicate and lovely.
Intense and lively, with bright, tart lemon, grass and subtle vanilla flavors that keep their focus through the finish.
Crisp and grassy-citrusy, with fig and melon overtones and a touch of wildflower honey in the finish, this is textbook Sauvignon Blanc. It has a streamlined elegance that makes it easy to drink, and will be versatile with an enormous range of foods.
Nicely dry and crisp, with pleasant citrus, lemongrass, mineral, honey and vanilla flavors. Could be a bit more concentrated, but itrsquo;s a clean, savory cocktail sipper.
